When you select or drag an audio file into SkipThePause, all processing occurs locally within your browser using the HTML5 Web Audio API. We do not transmit, collect, copy, store, or inspect your audio files on remote servers.
2. Audio Files & Content
Your uploaded audio tracks, voice recordings, podcasts, and exported cleaned files remain exclusively on your device. Once you refresh or close your browser tab, transient memory buffers created during silence removal are immediately cleared by your browser.
3. Website Usage Data & Analytics
Like most web applications, our hosting infrastructure (such as Vercel) may log standard technical web browser headers (such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and page request timestamps) for performance diagnostics and security protection. These server logs do not contain any user audio data.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We prioritize minimal tracking. We do not use intrusive advertising cookies. We may use standard browser local storage to save your UI preferences (such as your chosen silence threshold) on your local device.
5. Third-Party Hosting Services
Our website is hosted on Vercel. Hosting providers deliver static application code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to your browser. Third-party infrastructure providers operate under their respective privacy policies.
6. Children's Privacy
Our service is intended for general audiences and content creators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
7. Data Security
Because your audio data remains strictly on your local device and is never transmitted over the internet, your audio recordings are safeguarded against network intercept risks associated with remote cloud processing.
